AU Thephantomhivemaid
Jarlaxle walked down the long dusty path to his old home, it had been a long time since he was back home but now he is here. On the path to his house in the forest. The dirt seemed to be normal not traveled to much but enough. As he arrived he felt an unerring silence, Looking around he tried to find something to grasp onto but he couldn’t. He opened the door and looked inside. The house seemed empty as he sneaks in quietly looking for some signs of foul play.

Jarlaxle & Mey Rin AU
She laughed at the face he made. She glanced around to notice that although it was getting dark already, it wasn’t getting colder, and she looked to him as if looking for an answer. “Climate control?” she asked, wondering if he was responsible for the pool staying warm. “You know what this reminds me of? She said, nuzzling up to him. “It reminds me of the first night we spent together. Remember that?” She would not lie to herself, she had been a real easy target. They had not even had a real conversation before they were both wildly enjoying each other on the floor of a house he had probably conjured up. That night after he got her back to the mansion safely, he had broken into her bedroom, and they had made love again in her bathtub, among other places. She still wore the ring he had given her that night, and she fondly looked at it as she remembered that night so many years ago.
He laughed as well as he swam over and held her close to him rubbing his nose against hers. Jarlaxle loved her eyes, they were just so beautiful. Barely listening he kinda hummed yes to her when she asked about the temperature. Though the second question he had to talk, “Hm? What does it remind you of?” He asked back before getting the reply. “Well i think it was quite different than this but yes i believe it is like this.” He said smiling at her. It had been a long time, he had not remembered most of it but he still remembers their anniversary. He gave her a deep passionate kiss as he slowly swam to the side of the pool. “{I love you so much, you have been my angel for such a long time~ I will never forget you even if i grow old.” He whispered softly smiling gently.

She breathed easier when he came back up, herself floating above the water following him. “No,” she lied, pouting. “I know you wouldn’t drown in these waters…” she said mostly to convince herself. Of course, she also knew that one couldn’t always depend on magic, it had been known to fail on several occassions. Just for good measure, she smirked as she shot him in the face with her water gun again.
Jarlaxle smiled softly as he swam over to her and pulled her into his chest. kissing her forehead gently. “I am sorry i scared you dearest.” He whispered to her petting her hair lightly. After her shot to the face with water made him look like soaked cat. “Water..” He pouted slightly.

Meyrin laughed victoriously as he pretended to drown, but soon enough realized that he had been under water for far too long, and began to worry despite herself. “Jarl?” she called out. “Alright, come now…” she continued, slowly making her way toward him. Meyrin got closer and closer to the area where he’d been just now, submerging herself underwater as well to find him.
He smiled slightly as he held his breath, waiting for the moment to scare his wife. When she went into the water he breathed out at her shooting out a good amount of bubbles. Jarlaxle swam up to the surface quickly taking deep breaths. “God i almost died down there.” He panted kinda heavily. He looked at her smiling slightly. “I got you worried didn’t i!” He said out of breath.

He smiled to her and kept walking as the front door of the place opened showing the inside of his shop. “Well my door appears where ever my bell is.” He said showing her the bell on his belt. “And are you feeling alright? You seem off.”
She smiled and walked inside to finally be at his shop again. “Still a cool device. And really?…Are you sure?” She furrowed her brows. “I feel fine…”
“Why yes it is.” He said happily as he walked in too closing the door behind him and taking off the bell. “Yeah i’m fine with this, i’m just saying that i might want to cuddle when we watch a movie~” He said as he pulled out several cases. “Come on tell me whats wrong.” He pressured lightly.

Meyrin swam in large circles around him, evaluating her options and realizing she was getting nowhere near him. “That’s alright love. You forget, the first thing you learned about me,” as she swam past where the chair was she reached up and grabbed the water gun, “that I don’t need to be close to land a hit!” she giggled as she pulled the trigger on the small plastic gun, splashing her husband squarely on the chest.
Jarlaxle smiled as he laid on his back watching her with one eye, giving her a small splash with a foot as he kicked slightly. “Well i know one thing dearest.” He purred as she swam to the chair. When she pulled out a water gun he looked like a cat thrown in a bath as he felt water hit him. He acted dramatic as he clenched his chest slowly sliding into the water, he gargled some water before he “drowned” Pretending to be dead in the water.

She yelped and laughed as the water hit her, splashing him back but missing, as he had already swam away. She suspected that he had some kind of magical item that was helping him swim faster, as he was already so far away from her by the time she looked up. But she saw, when she tried to swim, that she had reached half the distance to him surprisingly fast, so guessed it must be the water like he said.
“You can’t escape me forever Jarlaxle Baenre!” she warned playfully, chasing him around the pool. He didn’t know it yet, or maybe he did, but she had a mini water-gun hidden under a chair that she fully intended to use when he least expected.
Jarlaxle splashed at her as she got closer, this was a splashing war, no one would get away with out getting soaked. But he will not be the one that got wet. He watched her carefully as he swam on his back slowly waiting for her to come and get him. “Oh? I think i can get away personally.” He grinned as he kept kicking softly to keep away from her. He made huge splashes as he kicked, he was happy to play around it was fun to have time with his loving wife.

She tilted her head in interest. “Magical water?” she glanced down, noticing its soft glow where the water touched their bodies. “You’re so full of surprises. Tell me about this. This magic water, your other magic. You’ve told Kyiat and I many stories of your life down there and above, but I still don’t know much about the land where you became you,” she said softly, prompting him to talk to her. “You know I love to hear you talk.”
He smiled as she glanced down thats when he splashed her in the face with some water swimming away quickly. “Well i try to make things surprising, though this is not my doing really, see i don’t have a lot of magical prowess. I have other people make magical items for me. This water is enchanted to keep us floating so we don’t strain ourselves. And it helps since im an ok swimmer.” He said trailing off as she asked him about his old home. “Well its nothing like here. Lets just put it like that.” He said smiling at her giving a small splash.

She shut her eyes to enjoy his soft kiss, droplets of water rolling gently off his dark skin. “You taste like wine…” she murmured, just then noticing they were floating in the water without much effort. Her smile widened and she bit his bottom lip just for a tease, “That’s cheating, love,” she said, but she was not complaining. He had entranced her with his magic from the start, and she didn’t want him to stop. “Where did you learn how to swim anyway? I thought the Underdark didn’t leave much room for that kind of activities…” she said, running her fingers gently over the scars on his back.
He hummed softly as he feels up her body slowly enjoying her completely. “Mhh maybe, i did have a sip before i got in.” He mumbled back as if in a daze. Her skin seemed to still be the same as he remembered, she aged beautifully compared to most women. He purred softly as she but his lip, enjoying the teasing and decides to scratch her back lightly in return. “No its magical, but not magic~ This place has special water~” He purred to her as he caressed up her back lightly and grinned. “Love, i learned a bunch of things swimming is second nature now.” He whispered softly as kisses her neck lightly.
